Working on

• At Apple — evaluating LLMs and Gen-AI applications, and building frameworks, services, and tooling to make those evaluations rigorous and repeatable.
• A couple of side projects that I'll write about here once they're worth showing off. :p

Reading

• A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles.
• The Anarchy by William Dalrymple.
• Papers and blog posts on ML systems and evaluation.

Learning

• Swimming, slowly but seriously.
• Badminton — back into it.
• Moving toward a healthier lifestyle in general — and finding new recipes that make that less of a chore than it sounds.

Going places

• Spiti Valley — June 2026.
• Japan — somewhere around the end of the year.
